He was predeceased by: his siblings, William, Robert and Evelyn; his son John L. Wickstron Jr.; and his grandson John L. Wickstrom III.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel M. Wickstrom of Ocala, FL; his children, Fred Wickstrom of Pittsburgh, PA and Kathryn W. Smith of Ocala, FL; and his sister Virginia Zolner of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
