He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ulysses H. Herring, Clarence D. Herring, Ladonia H. Shelton, Wilhelmenia O. Herring Rhem, Vivian D. Herring Pinkney, Bernard Herring, Jerry S. Herring, Sr., Janice C. Herring, Willie J. Herring and Rodney Herring; and his son Steve Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Herring; and his children, James Herring (Rhonda), Aaron Herring (Adriana), Deena Herring (Kenneth), Rodriguez Gordon and Stephanie Stith (Travis). He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sellers Funeral Home, Inc. (440 SW Broadway St, Ocala, FL 34475). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mt Canaan Missionary Baptist Church (848 SE 58th Ave, Ocala, FL 34480).
