He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Bryden and Florence Bryden; and his brothers, Donald and David Bryden. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Zeck; his siblings, Laura Morrow and Alex Bryden; his sisters-in-law, Debbie, Linda Fix, Sharon Aton and Susan Correll; his son Jake Bryden; and his daughter-in-law Lilly. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild who lovingly knew him as "Papa".
