She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dirk Schouten and Trijntje Walst; her sisters, Tineke Schouten of Ocala, FL and Herma Lengkeek of Alkmaar; and her children, Dirk Lewis (Teresa), Julie G. Kennedy (Michael) of Raleigh, NC and Thomas S. Lewis (Lesley) of Manhattan, NY. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren, a son-in-law and daughter-in-law and a great grandchild.
