He is survived by: his stepdaughter Sherry Swalek (Scott) of Ocala, FL; his stepgrandchildren, James Swalek of Ocala and Gracie Jo Swalek of Loxahatchee, FL; his brother Terry Lee Hawk of Murphysboro; his nieces, Renee Murray (Freddy) of Du Quoin and Angela Clover of Cutler, IL; his nephew Kenny Clover (Tasha) of Ava, IL; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Parrott (Lucy) and Robert Parrott.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meredith Funeral Home (300 S University Ave, Carbondale, IL 62901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
