With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar Franklin of Ocala, Florida, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on July 9, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Edgar Robert Jr. (Bobby); his parents, Corrine (Swauger) and Rutherford Lane Franklin Sr.; and his brothers, Rutherford Lane Jr. and John William.
He is survived by: his wife June Cornelison; and his daughters, Carol Ann (Frazier) of Rock Hill, Elizabeth Lynne (Garwood) of Ocala, FL and Catherine Lori (Swarm) of Bellefonte, PA.. He is also survived by his loving wife, three daughters, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
