We bid farewell to Deacon Wellington Gaitor Sr. (Ocala, Florida), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 22, 2024 at the age of 93. Deacon Wellington touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua Gaitor and Annie Gaitor; his siblings, Leroy Gaitor and Marlene Pratt; and his daughter Janice Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Gaitor; his children, Wellington Gaitor Jr. (Jennifer), Rudolph Gaitor (Linda), JoEller Rhem (Jesse) and Minister Vickie Gaitor; his sister Marionette Bethel; his son-in-law Calvin Reed; and his caregiver Deacon Timmy Curry Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Summers Funeral Home Chapel (2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, FL 34475). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church (612 NW 4th Pl, Ocala, FL 34475).
