With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Griffith of Ocala, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Yocum Griffith and Pauline Griffith (Hays); his sons, Charles and Robert Griffith; his siblings, Dave, Johnny Griffith, Darline Burch, Betty Artiby and Patricia Toll; and his great grandchildren, Dominic Edwards and Elizabeth Glenda Dandridge.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Griffith (Curtis) of Dunnellon; his former wife Hildegard Griffith (Raabe) of Marana, Arizona.; his children, Darline Johns (William) of Marana, Maria Dandridge (Darrell), Michael Griffith (Anna) of Marana and Richard Griffith (Alvena) of Arlington, Indiana; his stepchildren, Matthew Brown of Rantoul, Illinois and Susie Gardner (Matt) of Georgetown; and his siblings, Rick Griffith (Anita) of Vermilion, Judy Hahny of Ashland and Debbie Cooper of South Point, Ohio.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (9510 SW 105th St, Ocala, FL 34481).
