With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of BeWye Delos Carr of Ocala, Florida, born in Spring Valley, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2024 at the age of 77. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though BeWye Delos may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Murray Carr and Isobel Watters Carr; and his siblings, Lydia Lee Carr and Duane Marshal Carr. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Carr (DeBord); his children, Eric Shawn Carr (Jacob Rush) and Angela Kay Schmal (Carr); and his grandson Brandon Ashley Schmal (Macie Butler Schmal).
He retired after 30 years of service and was widely recognized for his contributions to the support of the 911 systems in most of the central Florida counties.
