With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Annie B Thomas (Ocala, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Autry and Lillie Autry; her husband Willie A. Thomas; her children, Leander Dawson, Willie Thomas, Jr., Brenda Dawson, Cynthia Thomas and Lila Mae Thomas; and her siblings, Leroy Autry, Cleroy Autry, Warren Autry, Wilson Smith, Barbara Starkes, Lillie Mae Chatman and Adell Autry.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvester Johnson, Marie Young (Thomas), Bernice Dawson, Marilyn Williams (Wallace), Stanley Dawson, Ricky Thomas, Debra Thomas, Carolyn Thomas-Luther (Ernest) and Calvin Thomas; and her brother Isaiah Autry (Carolyn). She is also survived by aunt, Lauretha Grimes Mount; 30 grandchildren; 72 great, grandchildren; 26 great, great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Summers Funeral Home Chapel (2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, FL 34475). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immerse Church of Ocala (5105 US-441, Belleview, FL 34475).
