He was predeceased by: his parents, Green Berry and Nina Smith; his siblings, Marcus Smith and Maude Evans; and his nephew Johnny Clyde Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Smith of O'Brien, FL; his children, Patrick Smith of Jacksonville, FL, Angie Davis (Rick) of Auburn, AL, Marsha Robbins (Barry) of Marietta, GA, Valerie Smith of O'Brien, FL, Hannah Smith of Nashville, TN and Hillary Burns (Michael) of Nashville, TN; and his siblings, James H. Smith (Dorothy) and Helen Humphries of O'Brien, FL. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
For the safety of friends and family during COVID, it will be social-distanced and the family will not be present at the sanctuary.
