He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Cooksey Greene; and his son Vernon Greene. He is survived by: his children, George S. Greene (Julie), Earnest A. Greene (Denise), Thomas A. Greene, Terry L. Greene (Michelle), Gary B. Greene (Tara) and Geneva Karen Ziller (Robert); his daughter-in-law Debbie Greene; and his siblings, Audrey Nelson, Arnold Greene and Andrew Greene (Sherry). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
