He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Wardell Coats, Jr., Shayla Felder, Camilla Felder, Brandon Coats, Booker T. Coats, Ashley Jones, Dana Jones, Alicia Felder and Christopher Felder; his siblings, Mary Ann Coates, Teresa Johnson (Dexter), Adrian Jones, Brenda Prevott (Paul), Valerie Sutton (Chuck) and Rodney Jones; his uncles, Pastor Charles McDuffie (Emma), Johnnie McDuffie and Alton McDuffie; his mother-in-law Cecilia James; and his sister-in-law Gladys Coates. He is also survived by grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
