He was predeceased by: his parent Elizabeth Jackson; and his stepfather Wallace Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Janice Neal Jackson; his sons, Newman Terrell Jackson, Branden Sean Jackson and Nicholas Ryan Jackson of Oakland, Florida; his grandson Newman Tristan Jackson; his parent Elizabeth Coleman of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his aunts, Kilbourne of Zachary, Ora Fisher of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Katie Brown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his goddaughter Alanna Drake (Delwin) of Middletown, Delaware; his stepsister Loretta Sanders (Chester) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and his in-laws, Donald Ray Neal, Linnis, Bertha Vallery of Baton Rouge, Kenneth, Dianne Brandon of Baker and Shirley Long of Richland, Washington. He is also survived by nieces, extended family members and friends.
In leiu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Association Florida Chapter and VITAS Hospice Central Florida Division in Newman's name.
