He was predeceased by: his wife Donna (Jividen); his parents, Phillip Rhodes and Emily Rhodes (Henson); his brother Donald; and his sister-in-law Martha (Green).
He is survived by: his brother Hansel (Hank); his nieces and nephews, Brenda Fulmer of Cassia, FL, Debbie Dahn (Mike) of St. Cloud, FL, Tyna Baugess of Viera, FL, Sonya Wilkinson (Jim) of Groveland, FL, Tiffany Rhodes, Donald Jr. Rhodes (Dale) of Clermont, FL and LaShawn Baugess of Viera, FL; and also Jan Rhodes (Graham) of Winter Haven, FL.
