He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Clarence and Helen Margaret Baumgartner (Mensing); his siblings, Robert Baumgartner, Ruth Stock, George Baumgartner, Richard Baumgartner, Jeanne Murphy and Jack Baumgartner; his former wife Donna (Hager); and his daughter-in-law Bonnie Baumgartner (Peavey).
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Baumgartner (Gail), Diane Kurtz (Steve), Holly Lynn Baumgartner and Heather Toner (Ian); his grandchildren, Allison, Jeremy, Derek, Calista, Caroline and Horatio; and his friends, Edith Mix, Keith, Karen Tidd, Woody Hoffmann, Dean Jodry, Ron Bell, Bob Konz, Ted, Angie Sicka, Cliff, Donna Haas and Bill Hirzel.
