With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann V Walkowski of Oakland Park, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florian Moravek and Theresa Hiza Moravek; and her husband Paul Walkowski. She is survived by: her children, Jeff (Jeff Wyant) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Pam of Norwich, Connecticut, Michael (Peter Petrucci) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and John (Dawn) of Coconut Creek, Florida.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
