With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ogil Reed of Oak Hill, Florida, born in Hueysville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 28, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Creed Reed and Dollie Reed (Prater); and his siblings, Jaunita Amburgy and Charles "Bud" Reed. He is survived by: his pets, Smokey, Suzie and Baby; his children, Mike Reed (Anita) of Edgewater, Florida, Peggy Hine of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, Cindy Tomlinson of Oak Hill, Florida and Jeff Reed (Karen) of Summerfield, Florida; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Duane, Shari, Rachel, Ryan, Colton, Nathan, Jeremy and Allison; and his siblings, Rita Faidley of Palm Coast, Charlotte Sue Newman of Apopka, Florida, Hershel Reed of Inola, Oklahoma, Robert Reed of Orrville, Ohio, Rephard Reed of Centersburg and Russell Gene Reed of Tiffin, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren.
