He is survived by: his children, Lorene A. Ingle (Jason) of Richlands, NC, Josie Ebert McCarthy of Haverhill, MA, Amy J. Villers of Haverhill, MA, Loren R. Ebert of Lowell, MA, Charlene LaPorte, Caroline LaPorte of Gardner, MA, Jennifer Bentley Dowd of Jacksonville, NC and Janet Lowe (Raymond) of Lowell, MA.; and his brother David Waites (Shirley) of Salem, NH.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, 22 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
