He was predeceased by: his wife Jane (Johnson); his parents, Josephine Kota (Dziedzic) and Frank Kota; and his siblings, Edward (Irene), Mary Franzkewicz (Leo), Jean Smith (Darwin), Caroline Sek (Joseph) and Stella Noecker (Donald).
He is survived by: his children, Susan Rosen (Stephen) of Englewood, FL, William Kota (Margaret) of Mary Esther, FL and Gary Kota of Buffalo, NY.; and his grandchildren, Michael Rosen (Nicole) of Angola, NY, Kenneth Rosen (Christopher Wesolowski) of Cheektowaga, NY, Ryan Kota of Dallas, TX and Allison Reynolds (Matthew) of Akron, OH.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
