It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M Empson of North Port, Florida, born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Empson; his daughters, Lori Ann Pierce (Mike) and Laurie Hornberger (Scott); and his grandchildren, Ryan Empson, Joshua, Nate and Emily Hornberger.
