He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Morton and Frank Morton; his son John Michael Morton; and his siblings, Juanita M. Howell, Carl R. McGrady, James R. Morton, William C. McGrady, Eugene J. Morton, Frank E. Morton Jr., Claud D. Morton, Daniel F. Morton and Jerry B. Morton.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Bernard Morton (Dawn C. Hudgins), Eric William Morton of Smithsburg, MD and Susan Renee Paschal of Williamsport, MD.; his brother Richard L. Morton (Debbie Morton) of Frederick, MD.; and his grandchildren, William A. Morton (Stephanie Tepper Morton) of North Port, Lorna V. Morton of Lake Worth, FL, Austin B. Morton, Bryce D. Morton and Sydney O. Morton of Smithsburg, MD..
