She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Hoffman and Nappie Hoffman; her son Major Paul T. Buhl; and her siblings, John, George, Richard Hoffman, Margaret Citrenbaum and Gladys Leoniy.
She is survived by: her husband John E. Buhl, Jr.; her daughters, Constance Buhl and Katherine Buhl; her daughter-in-law Yongnan Buhl of Bethesda, Maryland; and her grandson John M. Buhl of Seattle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
