She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Eva (Carr) and Hugh Wendell Neelands; her sister Elizabeth Jane Epker Palmer; and her grandson Michael H. Calkins. She is survived by: her husband Daniel H. Calkins; her children, Brian D. Calkins (Melanie) of Dawsonville, GA and Laura M. Calkins; her brother Rolland C. Neelands (Carol) of Truckee, CA; and her grandchildren, Caitlin E. Calkins (Laura) of Smyrna, GA and Andrew B. Calkins of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
No services are planned due to the current pandemic.
