He is survived by: his wife Janet; his brother David McDonough; his children, Pamela McDonough Bell, Gregory (Claudia), Kevin (Linda), Lisa McDonough DeFreitas (Rick), Stephen (Christina) and Brian (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Morgan, Paula Bell, Hannah (William), Madison, Mark (Angel), Michael (Kirstin), Ryan (Lilly), Brendan, Erin Fink, Sean, Liam, Kyle, William and Caroline. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Clare School in North Palm Beach or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
