With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Teresa E. Church-Nakata of North Lauderdale, Florida, born in Auburn, New York, who passed away on November 5, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Teresa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Teresa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Church and Elizabeth Church (Wenzel); and her siblings, Gary Church, Richard Church, Thomas Church and Tina Olszewski.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sandra Emmons of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Herbert Church (Kelsey) of Port Byron, Robert Bevier (Joyce) of Owasco and Donald Bevier (Sally) of Skaneatleles. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (6020 Lake Ave, Auburn, NY 13021).
