He was predeceased by: his wife Rosalyn Barfield (Irene Zasloff); his parents, Max Barfield and Ethel Barfield; and his brother David Barfield (Esther). He is survived by: his daughter Ellen Berger (Neil); and his grandchildren, Freddie Berger (Kirsten) and Brad Berger (Stephanie).
