She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Lazarus and Molie Lazarus; and her significant other Irving Berkowitz. She is survived by: her sisters, Ida and Elaine; her sister-in-law Judy Levy; her children, Wendy, Cindy and Seth Berkowitz; and her grandchildren, Nicole and Michael Mancino. She is also survived by mother, a grandmother, a wife—she was the matriarch of her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to City of Hope or Parkland Buddy Sports, ensuring that her spirit of generosity and care continues to touch lives.
