He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Lee Hancock and Mary Donna Shiver Hancock; and his brother Rodney Sellers. He is survived by: his husband Steven Beakley; his brother Sanford Jacobs (Vada); his nephews, Keith Jacobs and Scott Jacobs; his niece Brandi Bennett; and his mother-in-law Albertine Beakley.
