She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell H. Hartman and Anabel Hartman (Maust); and her husband Lloyd Earl Balsley. She is survived by: her son Brian Balsley (Janna); her grandsons, Brock and Gavin Balsley; her siblings, Phil Hartman (Linda), Max Hartman, Paula Clark, Donna Caskey (Tom) and Regina Hartman; and also Doug Gerber. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces.

Memorial donations may be directed to Yellow Creek Mennonite Church or Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.
