It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lee Charles of North Fort Myers, Florida, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Charles and Dorothy Charles (Main); his sister Kathy Charles; and his son-in-law Samuel Jones (Paula). He is survived by: his children, Melissa Jones of Houston and James Charles (Kimberly) of Newburg, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kyler, Griffin Charles of Newburg and Mariah Charles of Austin, Texas; his sister-in-law Joan Blodgett of South Portland, Maine; and his cousin Susan Wilder (Virginia) of Glen Allen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
