He was predeceased by: his sisters, Selma Palmer and Sue Belcher; and his granddaughter Teresa Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Watkins; his sons, Richard Lynn Johnston Jr. (Candice Jones) of Fort Myers and Russell Allen Johnston (Tanya) of Fort Myers; and his siblings, Billy Belcher (Cheryl) of West Virginia and Gloria Belcher. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
