He is survived by: his wife Lisa Thornton of Nokomis, FL; his daughter April Thornton (Kye Lackey); his grandchildren, Alex Kittelson, Olivia Thornton, Gaven Zomok, Jaxon Lackey and Lilah Lackey; his great grandchildren, Kennedy Moyer and Isabella Kittelson; his mother Mildred Getschmann of Wabasha, MN; and his siblings, James Thornton (Frances) of Mountain Home, ID, Jack Thornton (Pat), Columbia, Dori Bales (Rodney Laskewitz) and Sue Ernst (Joel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
