It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Alden Woodward of Nokomis, Florida, born in Plainville, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 30, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswin Woodward and Marion Woodward; his siblings, Clifford "Cip" Woodward and Barbara Johnson; and his wife Geraldine Desjardins.

He is survived by: his significant other Lorraine Achorn; his partner's son Chuck Woodward; his sister Diane Lindemayer; his children, Crystal Maddocks, Chuck Woodward and Diane Lindemayer; his granddaughter Jennifer; his great grandchildren, Keegan and Skylar; and also, Ben, Chris Woodward, Sarah Brown, Jesse Maddocks, Jenna, Ryan Lindemayer, Henry, Miles Woodward, Logan, Kylie, Natalie Woodward and Jack Brown.

He continued this important work and charity for more than a decade.
