He was predeceased by: his parents, Father Stelios Kavounas and Katie Werner; his granddaughter Melissa Kavounas; and his brother Alex Kavounas (Rudy Walenta). He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Plarr); his children, Nick C (Janice) and Kim Roth (Mark); his grandchildren, Cameron Roth (Mallory), Alexis Krieger (Cameron) and Alexander Kavounas (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Riley Rose Krieger and Jonathan Nicholas Kavounas; and his brother Thomas Kavounas (Joyce).
