He was predeceased by: his parents, Luca Mastroianni and Carmela Mastroianni (Cardaropoli); his brothers, John and Dominic Mastroianni; and his daughter Joanne Mastroianni.
He is survived by: his wife Claire Morisi; his children, Katherine Scagliarini (John) of Enfield and David Mastroianni (Patricia) of Mashpee Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Brian Scagliarini of Glenwood Springs, Allison Lessard (Marcel) of Southington, Jason Scagiliarini of Enfield, Anthony Mastroianni (Michelle) of Moab and Krista Mansbach (Ronnie) of Marston Mills; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin Lessard and Luca Mansbach.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joseph's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
