Anthony Hirst Levering Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Anthony Hirst Levering of Nokomis, Florida, born in Washington, District of Columbia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Webb Levering and Maria Levering (Hirst); his former wife Louise Farrell; his wife Joan Levering; his grandson Christopher; and his sister Agnes.

He is survived by: his children, Martin Levering (Dawn) of Chesapeake, VA, Mary Ellen Grover (Chris) of Barrington, RI, Theresa Levering of Tampa, FL, Katie Pechin (Jai) of Sarasota and John Levering of Venice; and his friend Sally Guilfoyle. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Tony's memory to the Venice Branch of the YMCA of Southwest Florida and Our Mother's House of Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice, Inc.
