It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilson Sherrell of Niceville, Florida, born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome M. Sherrell and Canola Marbut Smith; and his stepfather H. E. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Fran Sherrell; his children, Skip (Lauri) and Cherie Van Atta (Bobby); his grandchildren, Ashley Sherrell Healy, Heather Sherrell Millington, Christina Sherrell Caple, Allison Van Atta and Adrianne Van Atta; his great grandchildren, Alden Chandler Millington, Rylan Chandler Healy and Everett Alan Millington; and his sisters, Donna Gail Proffitt of Auburn, AL and Sandra Swinford of Pell City, AL..
