She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David Melton; her children, Lonney Melton (Lisa), Samuel Melton (Crystal) and Michelle; her grandchildren, Brittany, Jessica, Ashley, Seth, Weston (Kaitlyn), Christopher, Hannah and Loren; her great grandchildren, Waylon and Harley; her sister-in-law Janet Stinnett (Charles); and her nephews, Robbie and Matthew.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home (1405 E John Sims Pkwy, Niceville, FL 32578). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
