Scott Matheson Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Scott Matheson of Niceville, Florida, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Route and Scott; his siblings, John Matheson and Mary Matheson; his stepchildren, Christina Kinsey, Sean Matheson, Cindi Harvey and Conrad "Buck" Rhoades; and his grandchildren, Tyler Wallace, Ayden Senzig, Tristan, Glorianna Kinsey, Ethan and Aaron Harvey.

Over the past year, Scott worked diligently as a Test Director to test shelters designed to safely transport COVID-19 patients as well as shelters designed to protect the U. S. soldiers in the field.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation, serving our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need.
