He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Richard Mitchell Jr. (Renee) and Tracy Benzenhafer (David); and his grandchildren, John Randall Mitchell, Leah Ellison (Mitchell), William Cole Mitchell, Danielle Crammer, Breanna Benzenhafer, Robert Benzenhafer, Emily Elizabeth Teusch and Kamron Benzenhafer.
