Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Cheatham and Lydia Thornhill Cheatham; her husband William Gilleran, Sr.; and her brother Jack Cheatham. She is survived by: her children, William Gilleran, Jr. (Chuck Blanton), Carol Davis, Michael Gilleran and Erin (Jon LaGrosse); and her sister Edna (Jack Hannah). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; aunts; nephews; nieces; as well as, cousins and in-laws.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Davis Watkins Funeral Home (113 Racetrack Rd NE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547).
