He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Sims and Vera Lee Sims; and his sister Vera Ann Scott. He is survived by: his wife Ollie Sims; his son Damen J. A. Sims (Michelle); his siblings, Helen Depp, Lloyd Sims Sr. and Ricky Sims; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Johnson (Olivett), Carolyn Johnson, Benita Johnson, George Campbell (Leisa) and Glen Campbell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Gardens Funeral Home (2201 Partin Dr N, Niceville, FL 32578). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Gardens Funeral Home No Later (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
