She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Cobelo and Mercedes Cobelo; and her husband Otis Evans. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Evans; her granddaughter Cathern Shirah; her great grandchildren, Caleb Shirah and Dax McClintock; and her sister Finita Cobelo Rey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
