He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Ringstad and Ingeborg Ringstad (Haugland); and his sister Helen Krause. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Jean Ringstad (Aldrich); and his children, Cindy Chapman (Edward Chapman), Bruce Ringstad (Maria Ringstad) and Barbara Gahimer (Chris Gahimer). He is also survived by five grandsons and fifteen great-grandchildren.
