He is survived by: his spouse Tania Melendez; his children, Erica, John and Michael Cortes; his stepsons, Jose and Jonathan Clark; and his grandchildren, Rosalie, Lilianna, Jackson, Devon, Diego, Noah, Andrea, Gigi and Julian. He is also survived by one brother, three sisters.
