She was predeceased by: her parents, Yong Dae Kim and Sun Kum Yun. She is survived by: her sister Junghyun Kim; her nephew Sang Yu Yeo; and her nieces, Miji Hwang and Jihyun Hwang. She is also survived by her long time partner and love of her life.
