Gerald Reid Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2020, at the age of 98, Gerald Reid of Niceville, Florida, born in Unionville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Crawford and Margaret Eads Reid; his wife Mai Howell Reid; his siblings, Winston Reid, Dorothy Titsworth, Clarice Nelson, Robert Reid and Jean Clements; and his daughter Melinda Gayle Reid.

He is survived by: his siblings, Elwyn Flury and William E. Reid; his daughters, Susan (Paul Johansen), Gloria (Doug Hall) and Margaret (Larry Palmer); and his grandchildren, Rebecca Johansen, James Johansen, Matthew Hall (Crystal), Emily Adams (Matt), Kathryn Palmer, Amanda Shababy (Phillip), Benjamin Palmer (Anna) and Jennifer Cothern (Ronnie). He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
