It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Eller (Niceville, Florida), born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Vera Eller; and his brother H. George Eller. He is survived by: his son Sherman Eugene Eller, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Laurie Eller of Birmingham, AL; his daughter Toni McCormick of Niceville; his sister Jane Roucolet (Gary) of Phenix City, AL.; his grandchildren, Danielle McCormick, Kyle Eller, Cory Eller and Cody Cook; his former wife Priscilla Eller; his stepgrandchildren, Lacey Williams, Lindsey Foxhall and Trent Foxhall; and his great grandchildren, Mathew Eller and Jordan Eller.

He also served as the President of the Special Ops Spectre Association, President of the Water Oaks Homeowners Association multiple times and was very involved with the Special Operations Warrior Foundation that was very dear and near to his heart.
