She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Sawyer Matthews and Jackson Clifford Matthews. She is survived by: her children, John Julian Hodge, Jr. (Dora), Deanna Rose Hodge Gelak (Joseph) of Springfield, VA and Deborah Ann Hodge Garred (James) of Panama City, FL; her grandchildren, John Christopher McCauley (Elizabeth), Tiffany Cora Gelak, Jason McCauley, Alyssa Garred, Emily Garred and Andrew Gelak; her brother Fred Sawyer Matthews of Key West; her niece Monica Matthews Santana; her nephew Steven Mathews (Karen); and her cousin Fred Buck Sawyer (Rita). She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
